Laurel Pfannenstiel

Emily, an Arizona native and daughter-in-law of Laurel, is a lover of all aspects of design, ranging from fashion and interior design to orchestrating dream weddings. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder. After graduating, she relocated to Chicago for six years, where she found her interest in architecture and design. Upon returning to her hometown of Phoenix, Emily collaborated with Laurel to create a custom home for her family. It was during this process that Emily discovered her passion for design, aspiring to create beautiful, inviting homes that authentically reflect the families living in them. Emily's defining characteristics include her unwavering attention to detail and her exceptional client relationships. Her design style encompasses a unique blend of timeless elegance and classic details, making every space she touches warm and welcoming. When she's not immersed in her design work, you can find Emily enjoying quality time with her husband and their two daughters, Channing & Claire.

LEAD DESIGNER

Emily Pfannenstiel

After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Elementary Education, Alyssa spent 10 years in the classroom teaching in the primary grades. During this time, she and Emily planned her Phoenix wedding and worked on the renovation of her home, which sparked Alyssa’s interest in design. After having her first daughter, Alyssa took a step back from the classroom, which allowed her to pursue this interest and join Pfannenstiel Interiors. Alyssa’s organizational skills, time management skills, and interpersonal relationships allow her to assist Laurel and Emily with keeping the business organized, efficient and she’s ready to tackle any task that comes her way. Alyssa loves to spend her free time with her husband, Connor, and their two daughters. They enjoy traveling back to her home state of Colorado when time allows.

“We completely renovated / decorated our home in Paradise Valley. It was important we had someone we could trust to oversee the project as this was a second home for us and we only visited occasionally during the process. Laurel’s vision for every detail was on point and we are extremely happy with the finished product.”
